How You Can Help

Donate Now Through!

Creating Recovery:  We are on a mission to close the mental health-funding gap, by providing resources to a vulnerable population in need.  Art allows those suffering from mental illness and addiction to gain confidence, direction and a sense of self-worth.  We help fund The Art Studios to make sure it survives.  Without our help the Youth Program, in particular, couldn’t run.  And our own Weekend Open Studio program keeps people connected to their community and support systems as they create and enjoy art.

How Your Donation Helps:

$25 will help pay for art supplies for our Weekend Open Studio program for one week.

$45 will pay for art supplies and healthy snacks for a Youth and Young Adult class.

$67 will put a Youth through a 10-week program of art classes supported by us.

$105 pays for the Youth Class instructor for 3 weeks.

$675 will pay for a week of Open Studio on Saturday for up to 30 people.

We are a society run totally by volunteers, so each dollar makes a difference.  You will receive a tax receipt

Our impact

Almost 300 clients are active at The Art Studios and have been referred through their medical professionals – Doctors, Community Mental Health Teams, Psychiatrists, hospitals and more.

The Art Studio Impact Study, a yearlong evaluation finished in 2016 by researchers at UBC shows the very positive impact of art and The Art Studios. The presentation booklet is available –     pdf
